Job Description

• Actively tracking the progress of product and sample development processes as well as the production process
• Planning and controlling the implementation of product sourcing and production processes by vendors
• Taking charge of all communications and negotiations necessary in the production process to assure correct product quality, specifications, timing and delivery with vendors
• Creating relationships with new vendors, conducting market research
• Maintaining constant awareness of market trends, competitors and global fashion
• Making sure that the duties associated with social responsibility and quality assurance standards are fulfilled.

Qualifications

·         Graduated from textile departments of universities. Preferably textile engineering

·         Minimum 2 years experienced as merchandiser

·         Expert in knit garments merchandising

·         Experience in negotiating with textile manufacturers in the order process

·         Written and oral fluency in English

·         MS Office knowledge

·         Passion for global trends and fashion

·         Good understanding of fabric, textile product and garment qualities

·         No travel restrictions whether domestic or abroad

·         Military service done or exempt for male candidates

·         Residence in İstanbul
